With the continuous development of medical technology, the operating table plays a crucial role in the surgical process. Ergonomic design is one of the important aspects of operating table design, aiming to improve the comfort and work efficiency of medical staff during the surgery process, reduce fatigue and human errors during the surgery process. The purpose of this paper is to discuss the ergonomic design of the operating table from three aspects: anthropometry, design principles and practical application, in order to provide some reference for the ergonomic design of the operating table.

1、 Introduction: The operating table is one of the most basic equipment in the operating room, and its comfort and work efficiency are crucial for the smooth progress of the surgical process. In the design of operating tables, ergonomic design is an important aspect that takes into account factors such as the body size, posture, and range of motion of medical staff, in order to improve the comfort and work efficiency of the operating table, reduce fatigue and human errors during the surgical process. This article will elaborate from three aspects of anthropometry, design principles and practical application of the operating table, in order to provide some reference for the ergonomic design of the operating table.
2、 Anthropometry of operating table anthropometry is the measurement subject of human size and shape, and is the basis of ergonomic design of operating table. The anthropometry of the operating table includes the height, arm length, waist height and other dimensions of the medical staff, as well as the posture and range of activities of the medical staff. Anthropometry of the operating table should fully consider the physical characteristics of medical staff to improve the comfort and efficiency of the operating table.
1. Height measurement
The height of the operating table should match the height of the medical staff to ensure their comfort and work efficiency during the surgery process. Normally, the height of the operating table should be between 80-110 centimeters to accommodate medical staff of different heights. The height of the operating table should be adjustable so that medical staff can adjust it according to their own height.
2. Arm length measurement
The width of the operating table should match the arm length of the medical staff to ensure their comfort and work efficiency during the surgery process. The width of the operating table should be between 50-80 centimeters to accommodate medical staff with different arm lengths. The width of the operating table should be adjustable so that medical staff can adjust it according to their arm length.
3. Measurement of waist height
The height of the operating table should match the waist height of medical staff to ensure their comfort and work efficiency during the surgery process. The height of the operating table should be between 70 to 90 centimeters to accommodate medical staff with different waist heights. The height of the operating table should be adjustable so that medical staff can adjust it according to their waist height.
3、 Design principles of operating tables
The design principle of the operating table is the guiding ideology of the ergonomic design of the operating table, which aims to improve the comfort and work efficiency of the operating table, reduce fatigue and human errors during the surgical process.
1. Applicability principle
The design of the operating table should be suitable for various types of surgeries, and can be flexibly combined and adjusted to meet different surgical needs.
2. Safety principles
The design of the operating table should comply with medical equipment safety standards to avoid accidental injuries and medical accidents caused by unreasonable design.
3. Hygienic principles
The design of the operating table should meet the hygiene requirements of the operating room and be easy to clean and disinfect.
4. Ease of use principle
The design of the operating table should be simple and easy to use, allowing medical staff to easily operate and adjust, thereby improving surgical efficiency.
4、 The practical application of the operating table is an important part of the ergonomic design of the operating table. It aims to verify the comfort and work efficiency of the operating table, discover and solve problems in the design. The practical application of the operating table should fully consider the actual needs of medical staff, in order to improve the comfort and work efficiency of the operating table. 1. User survey is one of the important links in the practical application of operating tables. It aims to understand the evaluation of medical staff on the comfort and work efficiency of operating tables, in order to discover and solve problems in design. User surveys can be conducted through questionnaires
